We are thrilled to announce that WMOT Roots Radio and Eastside Bowl are partnering on a new music series titled High Ground. Through performances arranged by Santo Pullella of Eastside Bowl, and broadcasting on the radio, High Ground will shine a spotlight on the diverse musical offerings within the genre of Americana— contemporary music that incorporates elements of various American roots music styles, including country, roots-rock, folk, bluegrass, R&B and blues, resulting in a distinctive roots-oriented sound. The series will kick off with the performances of Sunny Sweeney on Saturday, April 29, 2023, and of Sunny War and Buffalo Nichols Friday, May 5, 2023, in the Venue at Eastside Bowl, 1508 Gallatin Pike South in Madison, TN.
