Eastside Bowl is a bowling alley, diner, and live music venue located at 1508 Gallatin Pike South in Madison, TN, and open seven days a week.
In 2021, Chark Kinsolving, Jamie Rubin, and Tommy Pierce completed the task of transforming a former Madison K-Mart into a 16-lane bowling facility that includes a live music venue and restaurant. The space also hosts an arcade featuring vintage pinball and 1980s video games, as well as a retro bar/lounge area.
Eastside Bowl is a community-minded place for the people – for friends and families to come together. Here, bowlers can bowl a tradition game, or pay an additional $10 for HyperBowling, a technology-enhanced game that is a combination of pinball and bowling, with LED lights and a reactive bumper used to help navigate the ball.
Live music at Eastside Bowl will be offered in the 5,000-square-foot former receiving room of the K-mart. Small, thoughtful details in the 750-person-capacity music venue help to preserve the magic of live music.
Chark’s Laneside Diner (LSD) serves classic diner food morning to night, for those heading off to work at 6 a.m. and for those who work in the music and hospitality industries to enjoy before or after a shift…and everyone in between. Fun fact, the diner is painted the exact colors of a 1958 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop guitar.
The Lounge at Eastside Bowl is a midcentury-modern-1970s-style bar space. Lyon Porter, the mind behind Urban Cowboy and The Dive Motel and Swim Club, helped consult on some of the design elements. Come have a drink at “the soul of the Bowl”!
With something for everyone to enjoy at Eastside Bowl, designed by and for locals, we look forward to you visiting often!
